ART - SPN Reverse Big Bang - The Road

This is my last entry for the 2014 SPN Reverse Big Bang! rivkat claimed it and wrote The Road to go along with it. You should go and check it out! Bad timing and the imps of perversity have misaligned our schedules so that I had to unlock this before she was quite ready, entirely my fault as I'll be on the road all day and well into tomorrow, the result being that the links direct to her page instead of directly to the fic which I will correct as soon as I have the chance. I had a great time working with her, and I hope you all enjoy our efforts!

Thank you! I'm so glad you like it <3 I wasn't a fan of the original I used the initial submission, but I really like this version too! After I unlocked my author ended up with an extension until the 11th *amused* it hardly seemed worth locking the art MP up again though since basically only about 5 people was going to see it only on my journal *wryly* Thanks for commenting!

I lobe how you are a little further down on the road for each image, and how the flames are a little stronger for each image. I also like the rusty-metalic grunge texture that you have used! I have used a similar texture on quite a few of my manips as well - I kind of like it :-)
I also love the earthy tones you have used. "Thumbs up"

I'm so glad you like it! The version I originally submitted for the challenge was, uh, "awful" is probably not too strong a word. But I knew that and had a plan to make it better. Which seems to have worked out :) I do enjoy playing with the filters. Good filters hide a lot of sins and color mismatches *innocently* Thanks for commenting!

This is amazing! The expressions you chose for Sam and Dean are so soulful and full of emotion, and I love what you've done with them. I don't know "art stuff" so I can't actually say why I like it so much in specific terms, other than it seems very evocative of the show and the characters, very dark and slightly bleak, and it really makes me want to read the story. Beautiful.
