I love friends! The more, the merrier. Anyone who would like to is more than welcome to friend this journal. If you would like to be friended back, please either send me a PM or respond to this entry. A basic "please friend me" is fine, but what I would really like to know is where you found this journal, and why you linked up with it. Thanks!
glasslogic: (Road)
This is my last entry for the 2014 SPN Reverse Big Bang! [ profile] rivkat claimed it and wrote The Road to go along with it. You should go and check it out! Bad timing and the imps of perversity have misaligned our schedules so that I had to unlock this before she was quite ready, entirely my fault as I'll be on the road all day and well into tomorrow, the result being that the links direct to her page instead of directly to the fic which I will correct as soon as I have the chance. I had a great time working with her, and I hope you all enjoy our efforts!

glasslogic: (Blood and Rain)
This is the art package for mysecond entry for the 2014 SPN Reverse Big Bang. It was claimed by [ profile] maryjo24, who wrote the fantastic Blood and Rain inspired by it. I had a great time working with her, and you should all go check out the fic when you get a chance!

This is the art package for my first entry for the 2014 SPN Reverse Big Bang. It was claimed by inflagrantedestiel, who wrote Angel Duster over on A03 to go with it. She was very understanding about my periodic flakiness and I think we put together a great entry -- make sure you go check out her story!

Title: Sundown, Kansas
Author: glasslogic
Word Count: 9k
Pairing: Sam/Dean
Summary: Vampires and new beginnings. Apologies, but ths might not make much sense if you aren't familiar with In Arcadia Ego, The Crossroads of Eden, and maybe In the Low Places. This takes place about ten years, more or less, after Crossroads. It should still be understandable, I just don't know how absorbing without the background.
Disclaimer: Anything you recognize isn't mine.

Posted for the Evil Sam Fright Fest 2014.
The moderator promised me Sam only had to be a little evil.
Possibly only evil thoughts. Maybe only eats one person.
Yeah, I'm bad at this.

Author's Notes: This story is entirely the result of, and dedicated to, the general awesomeness of [ profile] elusive_life_77. She is my gaming buddy, writing partner, dear friend, and kindred spirit. Plus, I think she read the first chapter of Requiem about thirty times before I reluctantly moved on to the second chapter. There may or may not have been threats involved. That takes a special kind of love and patience. I was quite done with In Arcadia as a general thing, and then she happened to mention a few weeks ago that this was her favorite of my verses, and she was sorry not to get to see what happened when Sam woke up. Since she's been dragged facedown through Fortress and various other projects over the years, I thought the least I could do was try and do this for her. It's also a surprise! So it's the only thing I've posted that she hasn't checked the story flow on, and I apologize if things are a little off kilter. It is, as you can see, entirely her fault. The, ah, beta period in general was a little rushed. [ profile] walking_tornado, hereafter referred to she-who-should-be-cannonized (added to the illustrious ranks with such luminaries as [ profile] vodou_blue, [ profile] firesign10, [ profile] elumir_calemmir and [ profile] saraid, among others who have bailed me out when the chips were down) helped enormously and I am gratefully in her debt. All remaining errors are entirely mine, as per usual. Also, like last time, to do the title banner for this timestamp I used part of the original IAE main banner created by the utterly amazing [ profile] inanna_maat! Available on A03. And a special thanks to [ profile] pushkin666 for hosting the challenge and letting me play!

Fic title: Requiem
Author name: [ profile] glasslogic
Artist name: [ profile] ameraleigh
Genre: wincest, slash
Pairing: Sam/Dean
Disclaimer: I have no rights to any of the copyrighted characters/material in this fic, and I make no profit from it.
Rating: NC-17
Word count: 33k
Warnings/Spoilers: More for the verse in general, but it's arguable here: dub-con, blood-play, bad language (as usual). Demon!Dean, Sam being Sam, etc. This fic can be read stand alone, but it will make more sense with the background.

Summary: There's a price to be paid for everything, and the time has come for Dean to uphold his end of the bargain that freed him from Hell, but the voices in Sam's head have fallen silent and without them the path forward remains obscure. They've fought demons, angels, and each other, but it's the frustration of fruitless months on the road that may be the hardest obstacle they've had to overcome. When exhaustive work finally turns up a clue, it leads straight to the one place on Earth Sam swore he'd never set foot again. But the promises Dean made were different, and Sam's going with him, whether he likes it or not.

This story is a sequel to Fortress, and was submitted for the 2014 SPN J2 Big Bang challenge.

Art Masterpost

(make sure you stop by and give her love!)

Last, but not least, my effusive thanks to my awesome artist, [ profile] ameraleigh, and to [ profile] elusive_life_77, [ profile] firesign10, and [ profile] elumir_calemmir who went above and beyond the call of duty in getting this thing written and ready to post. Also thanks to [ profile] vodou_blue, who has been of immeasurable help and support for this verse in general, and to [ profile] saraid, who had some great insight to offer in direction when forward progress was at a slow crawl. All mistakes are my own, and if you helped out with this and haven't been credited, drop me a line so I can fix that!!
glasslogic: (Zodiac)
This is the art package for my last entry for the 2013 SPN Reverse Big Bang. It was grabbed up by [ profile] deannawincester, who wrote Never Finished Paying For My Ride to go along with it! I hope everyone enjoys the fic as well as the art. I had a fantastic time working with her, and all of the author's who claimed my stuff this round, and look forward to the next go around!

Title: The Things You Keep
Author: [ profile] glasslogic
Wordcount: 27.5k
Pairing: Sam/Dean
Rating: R
Warning: Slash, various issues of consent (that's more a warning for the series than this particular timestamp.) This story might not make much sense without having read Fortress and Static. This verse departs from canon when Dean dies at the end of season 3.
Disclaimer: All material is owned by its respective copyright holders and no profit is being made from this story.

Summary: It's been several months since the events of Static and Sam's life has improved considerably. Dean's sane again, the demonic atrocities have stopped, and things are getting back to to normal. But "normal" for the Winchesters is still screwed up, and Sam's just waiting for the other shoe to drop. When it does, Dean might be missing, but at least Sam still has his corpse.

Authors Notes: I don't care if it's 27k, it's my baby and I can call it a timestamp if I want to! In all honestly, it was only supposed to be about 3k *resigned* But hey! It's complete, so we'll take our gold stars where we find them. I think I'm almost two years behind on the Silver Bullet Blues sequel, so... yeah. I've got nothing. On to the gratitude! In no particular order, the following people are entirely to thank for this being both completed and posted with any intact coherency. They worked very hard to school me in those little details I missed in English class, point out little oversights and flow issues, and are generally fantastic, awesome people for whom I am happy to return the favor at any time they ask: [ profile] elusive_life_77, [ profile] vodou_blue, [ profile] firesign10, [ profile] elumir_calemmir, and [ profile] herminekurotowa! Yes, it takes a village *dryly* Or at least a lot of hand holding while I whine and make excuses...
glasslogic: (Traders Wild)
This is the art package for my second entry (of three) for the 2013 SPN Reverse Big Bang. I think I've done some kind of spacescape every year I've participated so far, there's just so many great pictures to play with! I did use the same font for this one and Askew *looks shifty* my laptop I usually do art on strangled to death on a decades worth of dust and lint and I had to use my work computer to finish this year, one of the unexpected casualties was my font collection. I'm still in mourning. The result was a limited selection, and it did seem to suit both... [ profile] keslei has done a fantastic job with her story, Traders Wild, inspired by this pic! I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I did :)

glasslogic: (Askew)
This is the art package for my first entry (of three) into the 2013 SPN Reverse Big Bang. You wouldn't believe how many colors I tried on this thing! Some of them are quite, ah, eye-burning is probably not overstating it... But all's well that ends well! The ever lovely [ profile] verucasalt123 has written the story Askew for this entry. Everyone should rush right over to read it :)

Title: In the Low Places
[ profile] glasslogic

Word Count: 2k
Pairing: Sam/Dean
Summary: Vampires, angst, endings. This won't make much sense if you aren't familiar with In Arcadia Ego and The Crossroads of Eden. This takes place about ten years, more or less, after the last story.
Author's Notes: Brought to you by the general awesomeness of
[ profile] elusive_life_77, [ profile] vodou_blue, and [ profile] saraid! As always, and remaining errors are entirely mine. To do the title banner for this timestamp I used part of the original IAE main banner (and I was in a hurry so it's a little messy) created by the utterly amazing [ profile] inanna_maat!
