Art - SPN Reverse Big Bang - Traders Wild

This is the art package for my second entry (of three) for the 2013 SPN Reverse Big Bang. I think I've done some kind of spacescape every year I've participated so far, there's just so many great pictures to play with! I did use the same font for this one and Askew *looks shifty* my laptop I usually do art on strangled to death on a decades worth of dust and lint and I had to use my work computer to finish this year, one of the unexpected casualties was my font collection. I'm still in mourning. The result was a limited selection, and it did seem to suit both... [livejournal.com profile] keslei has done a fantastic job with her story, Traders Wild, inspired by this pic! I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I did :)

Boys in space!!!!!! I love the horizon with the hazy planets and a space story with art that's set along what looks like a highway is intriguing me. Can't wait to read the story that goes along with it!

Love the composition of the banner; the landscape and the near transparent planet in the background create a fascinating image. Ahw, yeah, I thought I recognized the font. Sorry to hear about your laptop and font collection, hope you have time to restore that soon! The lettering works well; I like that you used harder versions of the colours in the image:)

It took awhile to get the text to "go" with the pic *wryly* Glad you like the results! I don't know if the laptop is going to be willing to be resuscitated, but if nothing else I suppose I can gather the ones I actually miss from the dark recesses of the internet again...

Oh, thank you so much for prompting some Winchesters In Spaaaace! :) And such lovely and intriguing art! Gotta say, I love your warm goldenish palette, the highway, and the sky behind Dean. I cannot wait to read this one. Brava!!

I'm so glad you like it! *grins* I love space stories, and it's so hard to find them... I make a point of throwing in a space-scape each round and cross my fingers *grins* I think this may be the first time someone has actually done the story in space though! (I could be wrong, I'm very sleepy...)
