summary: College students are turning up dead without a mark, and Dean heads west to investigate after the son of a friend is added to the growing list. But “dead” in this case may be a slight exaggeration. Dean finding the recently deceased chatting up a bartender on the wrong side of the tracks is just his first step into a mystery with roots much closer to home than he ever could have imagined, where all of the answers are confusing and the revelations just make things so much worse.

elusive_life_77, who stayed up way past her bedtime to help me when I finished this fic about twenty minutes after it was supposed to post. As usual (it was also to be about 7k...) I'll probably be posting another review once I've finished it (which, now that I'm home, shouldn't be too much longer), but I'll just say right now, I like how you've tweaked canon. It's not demon blood that's 'condemned' Sam, it's naiad sperm. Very, hmmm, interesting twist.

Wow -- podfic? *wide eyed* You are certainly welcome to work on any you like, just let me know which ones, give me a link when you are done, appropriate credits... etc, etc I'm sure it's a usual song and dance *grins* I don't really know anything about podfic. I think one of them was already done though, we can talk about it more in email or IM.
Also, if you find yourself bored with a surplus of time today poke me, I am in need of another set of eyes for a plot/continuity opinion *innocently*
