This is the banner I did for mute90's great General Hospital/Left4Dead story for the Left4Dead Crossover Big Bang! I hope everyone who likes reading about the living-challenged will take a few minutes to stop by and read it!

Again -- love the color!

I really dig the dock and clouds, too. It never would've occured to me to put them in that lovely brick tone. Great job!

Thank you! I spent the most time looking for just the right dock, and then I had to find just the right clouds... and then I had to find just the right setting on my slider... *grins* I almost stuck it in this eye-burning blue, but this kind of brick/wine tone seemed better for zombies *sighs*

I'd be happy to make you a banner for one of your fics *brightly*

That would be awesome! Assuming I ever write anything again. *sadface*

Awwww. Well, I can do it then, or you can pick one of your old ones if you should feel so inspired! I'm an open opportunist.

Really?! *claps delightedly*

Don’t know which I should pick, though. *headdesk*

Uhmmmmm… Strictly Business?

Not familiar with the fandoms but I like the way the you create layers (hope that's what it's called). And the clouds are done beautifully. This is your favorite color, isn't it? :)

I'm glad you like them! I actually favor greens and blues a lot more (these banners er the first things I have that are in the reds), and this color effect was created in a completely different tool set than the other art I did for the challenge *grins* I _wanted_ to make this one a kind of eye-burning blue, but it didn't seem as appropriate for the subject as the kind of bloody sea does. My graphics skills are still in their infancy and banners are so small that I tend to wash everything together to help with picture coherency. At least in the backdrop section.

Your skills may be in their infancy but they're still miles ahead of mine lol! And yeah, that's what I thought, red always works well/better for dark subject matter. Keep dabbling!
