So sorry for the slow replies, life is a sucking vortex of panic at the moment, as it sometimes is and I've been very thoroughly distracted from more entertaining venues. I'm glad you got the prompt, I enjoyed your story very much (when I could finally sit down and read it) and you are a mean, mean person for ending it like that. I'll reconsider my assessment when you get around to the next part :)
