I'm so glad you enjoyed it! And the entire verse. Sorry about the delay in responding, I read this when you posted it and thought I responded... it's been one of those weeks. But then it usually is... I think the entire story as an arc is definitely very dubcon. Certainly Fortress is. Static is grayer and by the time this timestamp rolls along Sam is generally complicit in whatever is happening, but for the most part it's not exactly optional. That might get explored more, the exact plot line for Requiem is still in the air. I agree that it would have been entirely unnatural for Sam to leap gleefully into bed with Dean for all kinds of reasons *wryly* demon, sibling, male, etc. And they aren't the kind of reasons that are easily reasoned away. I think I have new drama for the next fic *grins* so we'll have to see what happens! <3
