Wow *grins* I'm very flattered - it's wonderful to hear back that you are enjoying the stories so much! I like unusual twists too, there's so much repetition... it seemed like time for something a little different. What's sad is this story could have easily been three times this long *wryly* There's just no time! But there are lots of mythological monsters that fandom seems to want to ignore... *grins* I try not to swell overly much on repetitive angst (a la every story they find out they are related - same kind of issues, wash rinse, repeat for wincest and just about every other popular trope) -- though from my other fic that might be hard to tell *wryly* I'm glad the fic worked for you, thank you so much for commenting!
