I'm glad you tripped over it! *grins* Sorry it took me so long to reply, I'm on the road right now so internet access is spotty. This was my first fic ever and re-reading it now to try and feel the characters out in preparation to work on the sequel... well, from the perspective of a lot more experience -- it's a real struggle not to dive in and do rewriting *amused* I'm pleased you liked the characterizations! Jess was a struggle, she doesn't have a voice to adopt really like you pointed out, so I just had to jump in and try to find a balance to seemed to work.
Let me know if anything in particular spring to mind you would like to see explored! I can't promise anything, but I'm always open to what people find interesting. It is a crossover with Millennium, but I think the best crossovers are the ones you can read and not even know it. I think a lot of people avoid crossovers because they expect to get tripped up in whatever the cross is, so I love hearing from people who didn't even notice! You should see Millennium though, it's fantastic *firmly*
The angels are canon to the show, though tweaked a lot. The main characters mother drew them, though no indication of a compulsion of anything like that. Millennium was long on speculation and maybe, and really short on hard facts or firm rules. Which makes it a perfect medium to play in *grins*
Thanks for commenting! I hope you enjoy the other stories too.
