I'm so glad you are enjoying the story! I like playing with canon "what ifs" and it always great to hear that other people are finding the possibilities interesting. I especially appreciate your comments regarding the characterization! That's always a difficult part *wryly* taking established characters, messing things up, and trying to maintain them as recognizable to the source material. I don't really have anything to do with the PDF files, so I just emailed it to you. I tinker with the LJ as I notice errors, so the PDF might have problems I have otherwise corrected -- but the story will be the same. *hopes this is the PDF with the upgraded ending, winces* I hope you enjoy Static as much as you liked Fortress!
