This verse makes me so happy! I hope you do eventually write that next story for this. You have fleshed out the characters in this so expertly and made their bond so intricate that it begs to be explored deeply.
I for one am relieved at what Dean saw in the mirror. Finally, he got to see himself the way us fans do! As angst driven as he usually is, i worry that only some of it hit home, but that's better than it was before.
I Adore Sam in this verse. His wolfish nature is refreshing and he seems to have the patience of a saint, which he certainly needs with Dean sometimes.
