I like that too, and it wasn't a trend I even noticed until after I was almost done with this fic. I don't mind it when they are both in free fall, but having an anchor point creates a lot of other possibilities. Especially when it's the weird factor that creates the stability *grins* I'm very glad you are enjoying the stories!

If you like The Cause Sanguine and In Arcadia Ego I don't think you will have any problem with Fortress. It's more popular than the other two and a more involved verse. The only problem people seem to have is it being a little slow in the beginning *shrugs* But I don't think Dean is anymore of a dick than he is in IAE really, it's just that Sam's reaction is a lot worse because of who/what Dean is to him. If you decide to try it I would be interested in hearing your reaction! *grins*
