I think I found this fic (Fortress) through a post at supernaturalstoryfinders. I loved the fic, and can't tell you how much I enjoyed your actual writing. It takes a lot to make me want to read a person's journal, and to even want to friend them. I'm a bit of loner these days, actually. So ... um, I kind of wanted to friend you because your fic is great and I don't want to miss anything you might post on those rare occasions I actually get to look through my friends list :-)
And hey, I like it when folks friend me 'cause I'm an equal opportunity friender ;)

*grins* Oh, me too. I understand what you mean about being a loner also, I think I talk to maybe 3 people regularly and I haven't checked my flist since... last February? I have this switch in my brain, I'm either writing or reading, but with very, very few exceptions never both in the same general time span and since I'm behind on the writing...

I'm really flattered that you enjoyed the fic enough to friend me and want to read my other stories! There should be a couple out between now and June, depending on when I get posting dates.

LOL! I do that too! I go in phases. Luckily these days I cycle through reading and writing in spurts. And, don't tell my own little die-hards, but I'm working on my own fic *before posting* this time. It's this whole thing I'm trying, where I actually try and finish the fic in a reasonable amount of time (take a year and half isn't considered reasonable, who knew?)
